Is the Medical Record Notebook secure?
- The Medical Record Notebook is a fillable document. If you handwrite the document, then you must keep that information in a secure location at all times and only share it with appropriate members of the healthcare community.
- If used electronically, the recommendation would be to password protect the file on which you save your loved one’s patient health information.
